'La Dormiusa'
La Dormiusa, lo scoglio che dorme, era uno scoglio che affiorava vicino alle rive di Bordighera.
Uno scoglio piatto ma dalle linee morbide, accogliente come una chaise longue di pietra, che ricordava una levigata scultura di Henry Moore.
La Dormiusa Suites & Rooms, fedele al suo nome, offre un soggiorno confortevole in un ambiente dal fascino antico, incastonata tra le suggestive mura del Paese Alto di Bordighera.
Le nostre camere, ristrutturate conservando i materiali originari, hanno tutte ingressi separati e una bella vista sulla costa, che può essere raggiunta in pochi minuti attraversando a piedi la Pineta del Capo.
Qui si può godere del mare e della tranquillità del luogo, dell'atmosfera romantica e della gastronomia ligure nei rinomati ristoranti del borgo e nei caratteristici locali dei borghi vicini.
'The Dormiusa'
Along the shoreline of Bordighera there was once a reef which went by the name of 'La Dormiusa'.
It was a singular reef, flat in shape with soft lines, like a chaise longue sculptured in stone; remarkably similar to a sculpture by Henry Moore.
'The Dormiusa', Suites & Rooms, faithful to the name, is a place to relax in comfort, to pass away the time of day and is tucked away within the old walls of Bordighera.
All our rooms, restored using original materials, have individual entrances and views of the sea which is reached in only a few minutes by a short walk through the shade of the pine trees in 'Capo' Park.
Here you can enjoy the gentle rhythm of the Mediterranean and the peace of Bordighera with its romantic atmosphere and enticing Ligurian gastronomy found in its famous restaurants and the characteristic trattorias of the nearby villages.
